Murat Yıldırım

Murat Yıldırım, born on April 13, 1979, in Konya, Turkey, is a renowned Turkish actor and television presenter. His father, of Kurdish descent, was a literature teacher, and his mother is of Arab heritage. Yıldırım pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul, where he also nurtured his passion for theater by participating in student plays. He gained widespread recognition for his roles in popular television series such as "Fırtına" (2006), "Asi" (2007–2009), and "Aşk ve Ceza" (2010–2011). His film credits include "Araf" (2006) and "Güz Sancısı" (2009). In addition to acting, Yıldırım hosted the Turkish version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" from 2017 to 2019. He was married to actress Burçin Terzioğlu from 2008 until their divorce in 2014. In 2016, he married Moroccan actress and model Iman Elbani.
